Job Description McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated construction company specializing in the fabrication and installation of sheet metal ductwork. We are located in Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, and Nashville. Our projects primarily include healthcare facilities, research labs, sports stadiums, hospitality, government, education, and other vertical markets. We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient Project Manager of Operations. In this role, you will coordinate project tasks and requirements, ensuring details are managed effectively to facilitate successful project execution. Responsibilities include coordinating activities to meet cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards. Project Manager Ops Responsibilities

Free up time for the VDC team to focus on drawing and coordinating duct work Submit RFIs and As-Built drawings Communicate with field foremen at least three times a week to update the project schedule Facilitate kickoff meetings with office and field teams Update project addresses and create/send drawings with deliveries Complete change proposal information and submit to the change proposal department Obtain vendor quotes for changes, requesting standard lead time and quick ship options Release duct equipment with VDC confirmation, assist with equipment take-offs, use updated release forms, and tag fire dampers Prepare and send ductwork submittal drawings for approval Maintain project task sheets and oversee daily operations Coordinate onsite dates, deliveries, and batch priorities with field teams Keep current drawings via Smartsheet and manage PO requests Send monthly change proposal and RFI logs Maintain duct leakage logs and update after receiving results Request schedule updates every 60 days and update project schedules accordingly Review and update cost proposal logs Follow up on vendor shipments and ensure materials are received on time Track and log field documentation such as daily reports and delays Monitor job site manpower and rental equipment to optimize efficiency Assist with staffing agency enrollment, safety requirements, and jobsite badges Follow up on outstanding invoices and keep project documentation current Willingness to work in Smartsheets and CAD/BIM is preferred Perks of the Trade: Health Benefits Weekly Pay Referral Bonuses 401k Profit Sharing Program 7 Paid Holidays Years of Service Appreciation Program
