Low Voltage Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a Low Voltage Systems Engineer who’s ready to bring both technical expertise and creative problem-solving to a role where you’ll be influencing projects for low-voltage and physical security solutions that make buildings safer, smarter, and more connected.

What You’ll Do
You will analyze, validate, and financially assess proposed solutions to meet client expectations and goals. The combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, creativity, and effective communication will be essential, as you’ll be integral to the success of the full project lifecycle.
Working primarily on Bid-Spec and Design-Build projects, you’ll leverage your expertise in Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, DAS, and Structured Cabling to:
Develop accurate, detailed, and competitive proposals with associated costs by evaluating project specifications and requirements.
Ensure designs meet all specifications, industry standards, and best practices prior to installation.
Conduct site surveys with colleagues to gather essential data for precise quoting and proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams to strategize solutions that provide optimal value and pricing.
Manage subcontractor and supplier quotes, securing the best terms and registered pricing from manufacturers.
Support project managers by sharing insights from the design and estimation process to align execution strategies.
Serve as a technical resource, guiding internal team members on system technologies and deployment techniques.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience in low-voltage system design and implementation (more experience a plus).
Knowledge of Physical Security (Division 28) systems and construction documentation.
Design proficiency with Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, DAS, and Structured Cabling
Proficiency in Q360, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and relevant estimating tools.
