Position Summary

The Quality Technician II supports product and process quality by performing inspections, testing, data analysis, and documentation across manufacturing operations. This role helps drive continuous improvement, supports system development, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine plant-wide quality systems, author and review procedures, and implement initiatives to ensure high-quality finished products

Support the Quality team in data collection, trend analysis, and compliance reporting

Perform routine sampling and testing on packaging line products and formulation batches to ensure adherence to specifications

Inspect incoming materials and components using established acceptance criteria

Maintain quality records, control charts, and certificates of analysis for compliance and audit purposes

Promptly communicate quality issues to management, initiate line shutdowns when needed, and quarantine nonconforming product for evaluation

Investigate root causes of failures and implement documented corrective and preventive measures

Analyze quality data to identify trends, outliers, and necessary corrective actions

Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Packaging departments to uphold quality standards

Identify and implement improvements to quality processes and documentation practices

Develop, implement, and audit 5S standards across production lines

Lead RCCA investigations and respond to customer complaints with actionable feedback

Uphold visual quality standards and drive initiatives for continuous improvement of quality metrics

Train team members on standard quality procedures, testing methods, and documentation practices

We we are looking for

High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

Chemistry skills including configuring solutions and performing benchtop or wet chemistry procedures

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, word processing applications, and Master Control

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Effective multitasking and collaboration across cross-functional teams

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform extended periods of walking, standing, stretching, climbing, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending

Total Rewards Package

The pay rate for this position is up to USD $27.00/Hr. per hour
