As a delivery driver, you will be fully responsible for the direct delivery of frozen products to our distributor, supermarket and bakery accounts. This includes all aspects of customer service, product handling and transportation, and communication. Key Accountabilities and Outcomes: Loads and unloads product from delivery truck Maintains an accurate record of all transactions using handheld scanners units and completing delivery slips Ensures safety by completing pre and post-trip inspections on handheld device, and communicating with Maintenance Team Lead Maintains regular communication with office staff and plant personnel Builds and maintains positive relationships with accounts Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Class B Clean driving record 2+ years of experience as a driver Punctual and reliable in work attendance General basic math skills Willing and able to learn new technology Self-motivated, able to take initiative in decision making HS diploma degree or GED Physical Requirements: Driving while complying with all traffic laws and maintaining full DOT compliance Maintaining DOT required medical certification Extended periods of sitting Walking (multiple trips truck-to-store) Climbing in and out vehicle (approximately 4 ft distance from ground to truck cab and/or cargo box) using a proper Three-Points of Contact process Lifting not to exceed 55 pounds: required on a routine basis Rolling product at customer locations (parking lots, sidewalks, ramps, etc.) while encountering vehicle traffic using hand truck Frequent bending, twisting, turning, squatting, and kneeling while moving product Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions Frequent exposure to refrigerated walk-in truck/storage temperatures below 0 degrees Frequent handling of frozen product maintained at temperature below 0 degrees Company-provided uniform and safety shoes required Ability to maintain alertness and work long hours that typically start in the early AM Compensation: In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location. Hourly Rate Range: $25.00 - $30.00 Hours of work vary by assigned route.
