Energy and Infrastructure Tax
Practice

San Francisco ,

DC . This position offers the opportunity to work with a globally integrated team on high-impact transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Candidate Profile JD
from a
top-tier law school
with a
strong academic record . Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction , in good standing. 3-6 years
of substantive
transactional tax experience at a
major law firm . Experience handling the tax aspects of transactions related to
infrastructure
and
renewable and conventional energy projects . Familiarity with the
financing of renewable energy assets
and the
monetization of tax credits . Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and work effectively with cross-functional deal teams. A client-service mindset, collaborative attitude, and eagerness to take on increasing responsibility. Key Responsibilities
Advise developers, sponsors, and investors on
renewable energy projects , particularly the development of
wind and solar
projects . Provide strategic counsel on the
financing of renewable energy assets
and
monetization of tax credits . Advise on the
tax
aspects of
energy and infrastructure transactions ,
drafting and negotiating
related documents. Work closely across the practice with attorneys specializing in M&A, real estate, and infrastructure matters to
deliver integrated solutions
for clients navigating the
energy transition

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation : Expected annual salary range of
$260,000-$390,000 , depending on experience and market factors, alongside discretionary performance-based
