Work closely with a team of engineers to develop propulsion, dynamics and range extender systems while ensuring compliance with functional safety standards. Lead the teams of engineers (Dynamics, Propulsion and REX functions) in the development of electric drive systems. Oversee the creation of Level 1 to Level 3 requirements using tools such as Cameo, Codebeamer, and JIRA. Coordinate with UI/UX teams to ensure alignment of signals and working principles. Manage the integration and testing of system functionalities, including winter and summer testing. Ensure all processes comply with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards for functional safety. Conduct stakeholder reviews and secure necessary approvals for system components and functionalities. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to align on design changes and ensure fulfillment of all requirements. Serve as the primary liaison at the customer facility in Novi, MI, ensuring smooth communication and project execution. Coordinate with German-speaking teams located in Germany to align project goals and timelines. Manage and oversee project work packages. Facilitate meetings and discussions to track project progress and address any issues. Support integration and testing activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines. Provide detailed reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability. What you bring along:
Proven experience in project coordination and management, preferably in the automotive or engineering industry. Experience in the automotive sector, particularly in electric vehicle or SDV projects Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in function/requirements development within one of the following: propulsion, dynamics or range extender domains. Proficiency in JIRA (or similar), MS Office and Sharepoint. Proficiency in tools such as Cameo, Codebeamer, and Confluence (or similar tools). Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and organize a team. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to travel internationally. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency is a plus but not required. Ability to work collaboratively with international teams and navigate cultural differences.
