Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts (hilos) to efficiently load, unload, and transport materials and finished products within the warehouse and production areas. You will ensure the accurate and timely handling of shipments, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate closely with various departments to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities: Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (also called a "hilo") to load, unload, and transport materials and products within the warehouse or production area. Unload incoming shipments, verify the contents against shipping documentation, inspect for damages, and ensure that materials are properly stored in the designated areas. Prepare finished products for shipment, load them onto trucks, ensure that the correct products are shipped, and verify the accuracy of shipping documents. Assist with inventory tracking and control. This may include scanning barcodes, updating stock levels, and maintaining accurate records of received and shipped goods. Move parts or materials to various areas within the manufacturing floor or warehouse, often requiring precise placement for assembly or storage. Ensure that all safety protocols and company policies are followed, particularly when operating forklifts and handling materials. Complete paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and inventory, ensuring all documents are signed and filed correctly for compliance and record-keeping. Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure that materials and products are delivered and received on time and in good condition. Any other duties assigned by supervisor. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED 1 year operating Hi-lo Read, write and speak English Knowledge of basic Mathematics Ability to operate Hi-lo Hold valid driver's license Ability to lift 25 pounds Hi-lo work experience
