Sirius Staffing is seeking a
Reliability Engineer
for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in Augusta, GA. Pay: $84,000 to $105,000 annually, with bonuses up to 15%. Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to improve the plant's uptime and enhance the efficiency of machinery and processes. This role also involves driving new ideas, systems, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the site. Responsibilities Conduct investigations of machine failures, analyze failure mechanisms, and implement solutions to improve reliability. Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and prevent machine failures. Develop, implement, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance routes. Implement best practices for lubrication, including proper selection and storage of lubricants. Analyze plant data to identify focus areas, reduce downtime, and improve plant performance. Train maintenance staff to enhance skills and knowledge. Redesign machinery and components as needed to improve reliability and reduce costs. Utilize the CMMS to manage maintenance activities. Assist in planning and executing maintenance tasks. Apply predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, lower costs, and reduce waste. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or similar Engineering Degree preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Maximo. Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment or trades is an asset. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, lubrication systems, vibration analysis, and related reliability methods. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively.
