Program Structure: Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months. Location: Shawano - Onsite Start Date: May 2026 What We're Looking For: Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level. Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to succeed in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Preferred Experience: Experience with Auto CAD and Pro-E. What You'll Focus On: Focus on melt cycle optimization through standard work and tap to tap tracking. Understand and promote least cost charge, chemistry change, and adjust training with all employees to expand knowledge among hourly team members. Participate in Continuous Improvement projects. Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members. Participate in the fundamentals of product design and development including testing using a variety of tools and equipment. Document and improve processes.
