Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate with mold set-up and operatoring experience.. This position is responsible for performing daily operations critical to our production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment, we encourage you to apply!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate and monitor various molded brush presses. Perform machine set-up and changeovers for various presses and equipment to prepare for production runs. Load trays of molded brush products and feed them onto a conveyor belt system or load them into industrial ovens. Perform basic quality checks on all parts produced from various presses to ensure compliance with established drawings and specifications. Make frequent adjustments and recalibrations to various pieces of equipment to ensure safe and quality operations. Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience operating various presses and/or machines is required. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and utilize technical information. Ability to successfully read and utilize inspection and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, protractors, and rulers). Ability to read and understand shop orders and blueprints. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
