Child Conduct Worker/Monitor

The Child Conduct Worker/Monitor is responsible for handling the safety of the students in the cafeteria at their assigned location. Job responsibilities include supervision of students in the cafeteria during lunch services, monitoring/controlling of noise level from students in the cafeteria, monitoring/controlling behavior of students during lunch services, referring students to appropriate personnel should disciplinary action be vital, helping students open containers/packages that they may be unable to open themselves, wiping down tables and supervising/helping students clean up their individual areas, sweeping up floor areas that may have debris, monitoring floors for any spills, and cleaning up immediately to avoid any falls from occurring. Attend in-service meetings as scheduled by the Lead. Promote good public relations. Qualifications: Previous experience working with children in settings such as education, volunteer, or employment. Must be able to work outside during the natural seasons (winter, spring, summer, and fall). This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
