Instructional Designer - Talent and Leadership Development
The Instructional Designer position is an integral part of the Talent Development Team. The Instructional Designer will work collaboratively with team members, subject matter experts, and stakeholders in designing and developing training materials for various projects, including but not limited to Workday, Employee/Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Orientation and Onboarding.
Training modalities may include (but are not limited to) technical manuals, instructional videos, eLearning modules, web-design, and instructor-led training. The position will also be expected to act as coordinator for training projects.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher education At least two years instructional design experience At least two years experience using creative software (Adobe, TechSmith, Articulate, Rise, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel Experience in using work-related software or an ERP System (such as Workday) Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of instructional design experience Higher Education experience Experience in project management/coordination Graphic design experience Experience in providing training for work-related software or an ERP System (such as Workday) Design experience using WYSIWYG software (WordPress, Weebly, Wix, SharePoint, Squarespace, etc.) Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles Knowledge of Visual Literacy Technical writing skills Understanding of both presentation and facilitation skills Ability to convert training documents into accessible PDF or HTML formats using Section 508 accessibility standards Ability to clearly communicate (oral and written) Ability to work collaboratively Ability to foster a sense of belonging Ability to be detail-oriented Ability to learn new software quickly Additional Information: Salary Information: $61,599 Required Documents to Apply: Cover Letter/Letter of Application, List of three Professional References (name, email, business title), Other (see special instructions for details), Resume Optional Documents: Proof of Veteran Status Recruitment Contact Information: Julia Menke, Sr. HR Partner, Jmenke@uark.edu Please do not send to listed recruitment contact. #J-18808-Ljbffr
