ABOUT THE ROLE The Terminal Operations Specialist is responsible for safely operating all equipment used to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring accuracy in orders and quick processing of requests. WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH Deliver exceptional customer service, providing final quality control checks to ensure efficient service at the terminal. Manage the efficient handling of products in both receiving and shipping to optimize terminal operations. Implement internal controls to maintain effective and efficient operations, preventing fraud and safeguarding company resources. Ensure compliance with internal control procedures by addressing operational issues and deviations from established standards. Oversee the unloading of barges and railcars, transferring products into the appropriate silos, along with sampling and testing received and shipped products. Load bulk unit trucks accurately, ensuring legal weights and proper product delivery for customers. Utilize and operate unloading equipment safely, including vibrators, compressors, front-end loaders, and other machinery. Process Bills of Lading accurately. Assume terminal operation responsibilities during management absence. Perform other duties as required by terminal management, provided safety is maintained and legal guidelines are followed. Commit to health, safety, and environmental policies to promote a culture of safety within the workplace. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Education:

High School diploma/GED Required Work Experience:

1-3 years Required Computer and Software Skills:

Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP. Additional Requirements: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability. Preference for candidates with mechanical backgrounds and welding experience. Knowledge of cement and the construction industry along with integrated computer systems is advantageous.
