A diversified global holding company with approximately $22 billion in assets under management is seeking a Manager to join its Finance and Accounting team. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting in New York City.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the corporate accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with GAAP and adherence to reporting deadlines Coordinate and prepare for external audits, including coordinating with auditors and providing necessary documentation Provide mentorship and training to senior accounting staff, while fostering a culture of continuous development and operational excellence Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting CPA required 6+ years of experience in public accounting Advanced skills in MS Excel Knowledge of Netsuite, a plus
Compensation:
Salary:
$150,000 $180,000, Plus Bonus
