Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Sr. DevOps Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia. Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software APIs and applications within Service Recovery environment. Supervise IT development and maintenance related projects and mentor supporting team members. Design and develop cloud-native applications, features, and enhancements with an emphasis on clean, highly efficient, supportable, and well documented code for the full technological stack. Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs. Ensure continued functionality of the system during maintenance and testing of software. Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams. Interpret traces from multiple platforms during test cycle to assist in diagnosing issues. Support Deltas Flight Availability Calculator using knowledge of the airline industry. Telecommuting permitted 50% of the time.

What You Need To Succeed (minimum Qualifications)
Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in information technology. Experience writing scripts for automation using Rest assured API testing with Core Java Experience using SQL to conduct Data source management Experience using the following DevOps and automation tools: Dynatrace, Cloudwatch and AWS monitoring Experience building forecasts about project budget and looking at costs of future modernization initiatives Understanding Availability, Inventory, and Sell applications used in the airline industry.
