The Integrated Data Analyst will support Pilot Training by analyzing data from Flight Safety Programs, integrating data sources, and providing insights to Senior Leadership. Responsibilities: Ensure the timely and correct submission of the monthly FAA reports Administer all aspects of the IDCAT application, including user support and feedback monitoring for Flight Instructors/Evaluators during observation data entry into IDCAT Support all IDCAT application-related administrative duties including accounts, new classes support, etc. Download Tableau data to the Southwest Airlines server and update dashboards Analyze, create, and visualize data in Tableau workbooks/dashboards Categorize and group Instructor/Evaluator measured items and comments for analysis Support IDCAT observation form design and generate data collection forms within the application Perform daily training data analyses as defined in AC 120-54a and identify gaps in Flight Ops Training effectiveness Assist in quarterly data review of the Data Integration group (DIG) and AQP, supporting Flight Ops Training staff with data requests Execute IDCAT Inter Rater Reliability data analysis and facilitate IDCAT academic content Perform other duties as directed by leadership
Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED U.S. citizenship or current work authorization; no sponsorship available Intermediate analytical skills for data collection, organization, analysis, and dissemination Knowledge of database management, analysis of large databases, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, etc.) Understanding of qualitative and quantitative data integration Basic knowledge of statistics and math concepts; strong research skills Knowledge of commercial airline operations and ability to build trust across levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong presentation and communication skills Excellent partnering, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal supervision Adaptability to new approaches and methodologies Self-motivated, energetic, and committed to excellence Experience in data analysis, visualization, and project management Ability to analyze complex datasets Ability to work from a desk/office for extended periods Effective communication in English Proficiency with office tools and computer use Must maintain professional appearance and meet attendance standards Must be at least 18 years old Ability to handle confidential information Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed
