An exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary team working on one of the largest Disaster Recovery Programs in the United States. You will be part of an expert team working with local communities across the US Virgin Islands, supporting the Office of Disaster Recovery in building safe, resilient & thriving communities by completing key recovery projects to transform and strengthen the Territory's infrastructure. The USVI Office of Disaster Recovery, a division of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority, has entrusted us with the critical task of managing and supporting federally funded recovery projects across the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our work will involve overseeing the reconstruction of key educational, healthcare and infrastructure projects, all of which were severely impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Interface Planner. This role plays a crucial role in managing the interactions between different teams, contracts and stakeholders. The primary responsibilities of this role are to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the Education, Healthcare, and Infrastructure sectors in various geographies in the Caribbean islands of the USVI to prevent delays, miscommunication and conflicts. In this role, you will ensure that every sector works together efficiently. Reporting to the Construction Lead you will also have key relationships with Program executive leadership team, Sector Leads, Project Managers and Project Teams, Procurement / Contracts, Supply Chain, Health & Safety, Quality, Risk, Program Controls, and other related program & Client teams. As a member of our program management team, you will manage the pre-construction and construction phases of our construction projects working with our team of project and construction managers. Key Responsibilities include: Identify and manage boundaries between different teams, contractors and systems. Develop Interface register with all interfaces and resolutions for all sectors and projects. Develop and manage interface resolution template for all sectors and projects. Hold and chair and facilitate interface review meetings. Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Address potential conflicts and ensure that dependencies between different project elements are well-managed. Align project timelines and deliverables across different teams to maintain efficiency. Document and report to keep track of interface issues resolutions and progress updates. Defining and documenting all critical interfaces between different contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. Address disputes or misalignments between teams to prevent delays and inefficiencies. Ensure that different systems, designs, and engineering components align properly across project phases. Manage interactions with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to safety and legal requirements. Facilitate discussions between project owners, contractors, and external parties to maintain transparency and collaboration. Track modifications and ensuring that all affected teams are informed and aligned. Evaluate interface effectiveness and adjust improve efficiency. Here's what you'll need: Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management or a related field is required. 10+ years of experience in construction projects. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage interactions between multiple teams and stakeholders. Understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies and regulatory requirements. Managing interface challenges and ensuring smooth project execution. Ideally, you'll also have: Project Management Profession (PMP) Construction Interface Management Course Additional certifications in Risk Management, Scheduling and Stakeholder Engagement Masters Degree in Construction Engineering or Project Management Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
