Civil Engineer Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing firm in South Carolina's upstate. This role will be responsible for the full design and engineering of project work. It is essential candidates can perform the grading and drainage portion of projects. The engineer will be tasked with putting site packages together, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D to assist with production, sorting permit requests for agencies, and performing storm water calculations and reports. The work will be a mixture of residential, industrial, railway, commercial, retail, and healthcare facilities. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare civil design/construction plans, including notes and details, plan and profile sheets, and x-sections. Create and submit project permitting packages. Prepare construction cost estimates. Perform water/sewer/storm water design calculations and reporting as necessary for commercial, residential, and municipal projects. Prepare contract documents suitable for bidding. Required: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering 5 plus years of site grading, layout, drainage, water, sewer, earthwork, and sediment control for civil site design AutoCAD Civil 3D Proficiency Strong Communication Skills Candidates should have their PE or be on the verge of obtaining it Must be able to work in Greenville, SC.
