Job Description: The Coach Operator will report to the Program Manager and is responsible for following safety protocol, schedules, and pre-determined routes to transport corporate employees between various stops. Duties and Responsibilities: Exceptional attendance and punctuality. Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and escalate any issues. Compliance with all traffic laws, and federal and state transit regulations. Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner. Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders, i.e., answer questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays. Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices. Additional duties and responsibilities may apply. Skills Required and Physical Demands: Use route navigation apps and other technology, including knowledge of the area to pick up and drop off our customers. Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents. Ability to safely operate and drive without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes. Ability to drive in fluctuating weather and terrain. Flexible schedule to work outside of regular days and shifts. Comfortable working a split shift schedule. Ability to lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers. Additional skills and physical demands may apply. Education and Qualifications: Hard Requirements: Medical Certificate required. Preferred Requirements: High School Diploma/GED At least 1 year of driving experience.
