Business Analyst - Ontologist

Job Title: Business Analyst - Ontologist Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid with min. 3 days onsite) Pay Rate: $30/hr - $38/hr Duration : 11 Months NO remote option. Hybrid with min. 3 days onsite (Alpharetta, GA). As an Ontologist, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing ontologies to enhance our understanding and representation of data within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in knowledge representation, semantic modelling, and data integration. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. KRAs: • Design and develop ontologies to capture and represent domain-specific knowledge and relationships. Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand and formalize domain concepts. • Create and maintain semantic models to enable effective data integration and interoperability. Implement and maintain standards for ontology development and ensure adherence across projects. • Conduct quality assessments on ontology. Implement best practices. • Document processes, guidelines, and any issues encountered during the Ontology tasks. • Collaborate with client teams. • Manage client relationship onshore. Act as a client contact onsite. • Facilitate co-ordination between client and the Genpact team. Skills Required: • Familiarity with Financial Statements and their interpretation. • Goof knowledge of financial and business terms. • Good interpersonal & communication skills (verbal & written) • Experience in creating and maintaining Taxonomy in the Financial domain is an advantage. • Expertise in MS Excel Qualifications: Minimum qualifications • Graduate in Finance / Commerce, MBA /Finance major preferred, • BTech, preferably in computer science and data can also be considered.
