Quality Inspector

Responsibilities: Ensure work area is safe, organized, and clean Ensure all measurement equipment is operational and calibrated Verify incoming material and components (cert verification, visual condition, physical measurements) Perform FAI in accordance with AS9102C standards Conduct first part verification Perform in-process inspection Conduct final inspection prior to shipping to the end customer Document inspection results Collaborate with production team on quality-related issues Competency requirements: Proficient in the use of measuring tools Experience with MS Office products Ability to read, write, and converse in English Desired (can train as needed): 3-5 years of experience in inspection roles 2+ years related experience within sheet metal manufacturing or 5+ years in manufacturing, or equivalent education and experience Knowledge of ISO, AS standards, and specifications Knowledge of basic statistical process control Experience with ERP systems is a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift forty pounds on occasion Must be able to sit, stand, and move around continuously Company Overview: Buyken is a precision metal fabrication company established in 1939.
