Aerospace Engineer

You Have: Experience in analysis and modeling of threat weapon systems, including hypersonic systems Experience in guidance system design, trajectory optimization, and navigation algorithms for high-speed flight Experience with coding in Python Knowledge of modeling or developing medium Three Degrees-of-Freedom (3-DOF) or high fidelity 6-DOF digital flight simulation environments Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, such as Aerospace Engineering or Physics Nice If You Have: Experience in flight dynamics, vehicle performance characterization, propulsion system design, supersonic or hypersonic aerodynamics prediction, guidance, navigation, control, and flight test data analysis Experience with C++, MATLAB, or other programming languages Experience in Python libraries for scientific computing, data visualization, and statistical analysis Knowledge of EO/IR and remote sensing principles Knowledge of linear algebra, probability and statistics, state dynamic equations, Kalman filters, kinematics, and rotating coordinates Master's degree in an engineering field, such as Aerospace Engineering or Physics preferred; Doctorate degree in an engineering field, such as Aerospace Engineering or Physics a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
