Sr. Mechanical Design Manufacturing Engineer, Energy Products

We're seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer with strong mechanical design experience to develop and build high-volume manufacturing lines for Tesla's Energy team. In this role, you'll design "the machine that builds the machine," working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Design, Quality, NPI, Production, and Automation Vendors to develop, optimize, and deploy advanced manufacturing equipment and processes. You'll own the full lifecycle of equipment development, from initial concept through production ramp, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and output for Tesla's cutting-edge energy products and power electronics.This role requires onsite presence at our newest Megafactory 3 in Brookshire, TX, to support pilot and launch efforts. After this phase, the role will transition to our Gigafactory in Austin, TX.
