Save Job

Design the power behind innovation.

A leading semiconductor manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced

High Voltage Electrical Engineer

to lead the design and execution of critical power infrastructure across multiple high-tech facilities. These factories run 24/7/365-your systems don't get weekends. From

138kV substations to 480V distribution , you'll play a central role in building and maintaining

high-reliability electrical systems

that power state-of-the-art wafer fabs and assembly/test facilities.

What You'll Do

Own the design and planning

of high-voltage and medium-voltage substation and distribution systems (138kV to 15kV, 15kV to 480V/4160V). Develop

redundant, high-reliability systems

to ensure continuous operation in zero-downtime environments. Lead protection and control scheme development, including

relay coordination

and fault analysis. Oversee

station service power systems , including DC distribution design, build, and commissioning. Design for

smart device integration , fiber-based relaying networks, and SCADA systems for industrial automation. Coordinate with facilities, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure system uptime, energy efficiency, and process compatibility. Drive

end-to-end commissioning

efforts on greenfield and brownfield projects-ensuring systems are built to spec and performance ready. What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years

of experience in high voltage substation and power distribution design, construction, and commissioning. Deep technical knowledge in power system protection, relay logic, arc flash studies, and electrical reliability best practices. Experience in

mission-critical industries

such as semiconductor, data centers, advanced manufacturing, utilities, or aerospace. Working knowledge of

SCADA , industrial networking, and substation automation systems. Strong communication and project coordination skills across engineering, contractors, and field operations.

Why This Role Matters

The infrastructure you design supports hundreds of utility systems-including chemicals, gases, HVAC, ultrapure water, and vacuum-all of which are essential to precision manufacturing. A single disruption can halt production. In this role, you're not just keeping the lights on. You're powering an entire high-tech ecosystem.
