AS or BS Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent Majors in: Controls and Computer Control Systems, Computer Science, Mechatronic Engineering, Automation engineering, etc.)at least 1 years of experience as a hands-on mechanical/manufacturing controls Engineer working on automation and/or electromechanical systemsAdvanced proficiency in programming industrial equipment in all IEC 61131-3 languages with a focus on structured text and ladder logicExperience with Automated WarehousingExperience implementing and maintaining a databaseExperience with Beckhoff, Omron, Siemens, B&R, and/or MitsubishiSafety PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron, Pilz, Siemens, B&R, etc.)Human Machine Interface (HMI / GUI - AB Panelview, Ignition, TIA/WinCC, B&R, etc.)Field bus Networks (EtherCAT, ProfiNet, ProfiBud, Modbus, Powerlink, RS232, etc.) and OPC UAPLCs, SCADA, MES, and other systemsProficiency in selecting/ integrating appropriate circuit protectors, wire and cable, sensors, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O, VFD, and servo systemsPreferred experience in programming Cartesian, SCARA and Articulated robots (Fanuc, Kuka, etc)Preferred experience with Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc)Preferred experience with semi-automated / automated manufacturing equipment
