Foundation Relations Program Assistant

The Foundation Relations (FR) Program Assistant serves as the data manager for the FR office, maintaining activity, gift, and payment trackers, OASIS, and Proposal to enable timely and accurate planning, tracking and reporting of activity and outcomes. Reporting to the Assistant VP for Foundation Relations, the Program Assistant maintains and updates the FR office's OASIS User Guide. The Program Assistant also covers additional FR office support functions as needed. Essential Functions
Compiles, confirms and proactively updates key data on Foundation Relations (FR) activity and outcomes via the FR Activity Tracker. Interfaces with the FR team, as well as IORA and GDR (Gift and Donor Records) to actively seek out information / track activity and progress of FR asks, including both LOI's and proposals. Compiles accurate reports on funding across the University of Rochester, including detailed analysis/reports of foundation activity, pulling from IORA and GDR/OASIS for the AVP of Foundation Relations on a monthly and ad-hoc basis. Tracks pre- and post-award activities and updates all relevant reports and databases, including interfacing with ORPA, GDR and ORACS as needed. Tracks activity related to gift/grant payments and electronic funds transfers to ensure accurate accounting / record keeping and reports for the AVP of FR. Includes ensuring the FR office has formal paperwork regarding ask outcomes, tracking grant agreements, pledges, payments, gift totals, projections, etc. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, including at least some writing experience required Or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent computer/technological information system skills, data analysis, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
