Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering excellent customer service while making monetary exchanges with internal and external guests. Must be at all times above reproach and represent the highest level of integrity. Cage cashiers must at all times conduct themselves in a manner, which absolutely avoids even the appearance of wrongdoing. Cage cashiers are to communicate their observations on operations, gaming and other matters to their appropriate supervisor. Responsible for the accurate handling of all monies or accountable items in their change. Operates a wide variety of equipment, i.e., adding machines, calculators, coin counters, coin wrappers, currency counters, and cash control system. Conducts check cashing and credit services. Cashes all casino approved checks. Responsible for accurate accounting of funds assigned. Knowledge of computer applications including word processing, data bases and/ or data entry, spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook is required. Appropriate work attire is required. Department uniform is required and provided to the employee, which must be worn during the scheduled work hours unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Must attend all mandatory department training. Must attend all required Title 31 and/or SAR training. Ability to obtain a gaming identification badge to work in and around Casino property and facilities. Ensures confidentiality of financial records and all records for employees, band members and/or clients. Displays a responsive and professional manner in promptly responding to all requests, complaints, and problems. Recognizes that each employee is a representative of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and is responsible for demonstrating courtesy, respect, and sensitivity to the needs of all others, including visitors and co-workers. Represents the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community. Required to maintain proper attendance including reporting to work on time in accordance with applicable policies. Maintains a clean and organized work area. Due to changes and modifications in the job from time to time, employees are required to be flexible and assume other responsibilities assigned by management as deemed necessary. Qualifications

Ability to relate well with the public. Knowledge of cash accounting. The ability to operate computers and calculators is desired. Previous gaming experience preferred. A strong mathematical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy is required. Knowledge of Native American communities, culture, customs, and beliefs are preferred. Operations are conducted seven days a week and on holidays. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is required. Ability to work independently and establish priorities is required. Attention to detail and accuracy is required. Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships on all projects and with all parties involved. Subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with the Fond du Lac Reservation's Personnel Policies. Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks. Some travel may be required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sedentary work with normal physical requirements. Subject to inside environmental conditions, including work in a smoking environment. Bending, stopping, pushing and pulling are required. Prolonged sitting, with some lifting and walking is required. The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds is required.
