NEW CT Technologist Opening Full-Time Direct Hire
A leading healthcare facility is currently hiring a
CT Technologist I
to join its imaging team. This role is ideal for a skilled and compassionate technologist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform CT scans in accordance with department protocols and safety standards
Operate CT scanner, post-processing software, IV contrast injectors, and monitoring equipment
Review and verify physician orders and patient history; ensure proper patient identification
Prepare and administer IV contrast; document type and dosage
Assist radiologists during procedures and maintain proper sterile technique
Monitor patients during procedures and respond to changes in condition
Follow radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (2-year AMA/ARRT-approved)
ARRT certification in Radiology (or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine)
Advanced CT registry (ARRT-CT) within 1 year of hire
Current CPR certification
Certification in IV and contrast administration (required prior to performing contrast exams)
1 2 years experience in diagnostic radiology or 1 year in CT preferred
