Hyatt Position Overview:

At The Wildbirch Hotel, our Night Auditors serve as the welcoming face of our unique lifestyle property during the overnight hours. They are responsible for greeting guests, facilitating check-ins, and ensuring each guest enjoys an exceptional stay in Anchorage. They also audit the reservations, guest ledger, and financial transactions of the day. The role requires handling reservations, guest inquiries, and managing check-ins/outs in an efficient, warm, and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Greet and check in late-arriving guests while ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded in the system. Reconcile and balance daily financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and discrepancies. Process and verify guest payments, manage check-outs for early departures, and settle outstanding accounts. Perform nightly audits of guest accounts and hotel financial activities, ensuring accuracy and preparing reports for management. Assist guests with late-night requests, reservations, and inquiries. Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, room layouts, and the Anchorage area to assist guests during overnight hours. Collaborate with security and other departments to ensure guest safety and comfort. Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports to management. Manage the Front Desk area during the night shift, ensuring it's organized and stocked. Address guest issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Requirements: Experience in hotel or customer service roles, preferably with night auditing or financial reconciliation. Knowledge of hotel management systems (Room Master, OPERA Cloud preferred). Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies during overnight hours. Detail-oriented with strong numerical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based tools. Ability to work independently at night and collaborate with other departments. Physical & Availability Requirements: Standing for long periods and occasional lifting of light materials.
