2 per shift (assist deliveries, scrub C-sections, stock supplies) Support Services:
RT (24/7, from NICU), Pharmacy (24/7), OB attending (24/7), Neonatologist (24/7) ✅ Requirements
Certifications (all required):
BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
Experience: 4+ years in L&D
High-risk deliveries (HTN, multiples, diabetes, no prenatal care, substance use, etc.) C-section circulating required
; scrubbing preferred
Travel experience preferred
Meds/Drips Experience:
Pitocin, Mag Sulfate, Insulin drips
Orientation:
3 shifts
🧾 Job Duties
Care for perinatal patients (20 weeks+) including
high-risk OB cases
Assist & circulate in C-sections (scrubbing preferred) Float between L&D, Antepartum, Postpartum as needed
Work closely with OB techs, RTs, and pharmacy for patient care
👥 Team/Environment 13th largest birthing center in California
High volume, high-risk deliveries
Collaborative team with tech & RT support
📋 Scheduling & Policies
Shift:
Nights, 7p–7a
Weekend Requirement:
Every other
Holiday Requirement:
1 major + 2 minor
Call:
None
Floating:
Yes (to Antepartum & Postpartum) Scrubs:
Hospital-provided (must be sterile) Other:
No acrylic/overlay nails allowed
Cancellation Policy:
Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 weeks
