Construction Project Manager / Engineer
Jimale Technical Services, LLC. (JTS), based in Seattle, Washington, is seeking a Construction Project Manager / Engineer to join our team. We specialize in public works projects including transit, rail, aviation, and water/wastewater systems.
Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Capital Projects Construction Project Manager (CM side) to oversee planning, design, procurement, and construction of capital improvement projects. The CPM will act as the Owners representative, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with standards and regulations. The role also includes serving as Engineer during construction and supporting business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of capital projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Coordinate with Owners, consultants, contractors, and agencies.
Manage budgets, schedules, and risk plans.
Oversee procurement, bid evaluation, and contract awards.
Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payments.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
Facilitate meetings, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
Ensure document control and compliance.
Manage project closeout activities.
Engineer Duties
Provide on-site representation during construction.
Monitor contractor activities for compliance with standards.
Coordinate inspections and testing.
Maintain project documentation.
Serve as primary contact during construction.
Business Development Support
Assist in identifying new project opportunities.
Participate in proposals and presentations.
Provide technical insights to support business growth.
Build relationships with clients and partners.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Masters preferred).
Minimum 7+ years of experience in project management for infrastructure or large-scale construction.
Knowledge of project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, CMAR/GCCM, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build).
Experience with budgets, scheduling, and contracts.
Understanding of public procurement and regulations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications
CCM (Certified Construction Manager)
PMP (Project Management Professional)
PE (Professional Engineer) license
LEED AP or similar sustainability credentials

Salary Range : $114,363 - $172,758 annually, depending on experience.
