Job Title: Specialist, Integration And Test Engineer Job Code: 28165 Job Location: Greenville, TX (On-Site) Job Schedule: 1st Shift 9/80 Job Description: The Specialist, Integration And Test Engineering position will be responsible for being part of a team that supports the design, development, test, and integration of complex, specialized hardware/software systems installed on ground and airborne ISR platforms. Essential Duties: Interfaces with other Systems Engineering, Flight Line Test, Product Development, and Project Engineering personnel to understand new baseline functionality. Plans and executes integration testing in a Systems Integration Laboratory and on airborne and ground-based platforms. Verifies and validates new baseline functionality while ensuring legacy functionality still works as intended. Follow existing standards to document system testing status and anomalies with the system hardware and software. Verifies fixes to anomalies. Interfaces with customer personnel to ensure their satisfaction with system performance. Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work. Provides regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and customer informed. Self-starting & able to work effectively in an independent & team environment Must possess excellent organization, communications, and presentation skills Considerable Systems or Software Engineering experience with System Interfaces Work with customers, systems engineers & architects to meet delivery requirements Strong written and verbal communication abilities are essential Ability to travel as needed (10% travel expected) Ability to provide support regularly during ground and test flight events. Understand, write, and implement systems test plans and procedures Hands-on experience with RC-135 Operator and Communications Interfaces Ability to communicate within and outside the organization which includes customers and vendors Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with four (4) years of prior experience with aircraft systems and/or software engineering. Graduate Degree with two (2) years of prior experience with aircraft systems and/or software engineering. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience with aircraft systems and/or software engineering. Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain Class-III Flight Physical. Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Preferred Additional Skills: Active Top Secret with SCI. Experience with IBM DOORS Requirements Management Tool. Former flying experience supporting RC-135 operations.
