As the Systems and Software Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading and performing key areas of responsibility within the Software Quality Engineering discipline, developing and maintaining processes that adhere to AS9100 and CMMI standards. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Basic Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in STEM -Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance -8 years of experience in Software Quality, Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering -Software experience in Requirements Analysis, Design/Development, Product Integration and Test -Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems / models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI) and AS9100 -Experience with corrective and preventive action and experienced as a team lead and facilitator -Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and build strong relationships with management at all levels, as well as with customers and stakeholders Desired skills: -Experience driving strategies resulting in the strengthening the Software Quality Management Systems both at internal sites and at key software suppliers. -Experience working with Government customers and stakeholders. -Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt). -ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CSQ) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA). -Experience with Agile Methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SaFE, etc.) -Experience with creating and/or generating Basis of Estimates for Proposals. Deep understanding of Software Quality Assurance tasks and estimates is required. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
