Suitland, Maryland - Onsite The Information Technology Project Manager plans, initiates, and manages information technology (IT) projects. Responsibilities include leading and guiding the work of technical staff, serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects, planning project stages, and assessing business implications for each stage. The manager monitors, documents, and reports progress to ensure project requirements, standards, deadlines, and cost targets are met. Required Qualifications • Have a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, software engineering, computer science, information technology/systems, or equivalent. • Minimum of 3 years of similar experience overseeing IC technology projects. Desired Qualifications • PM Certification Level III DAWIA or PMI PM certification or equivalent experience. • SDLC and/or DevSecOps experience. • Demonstrated information technology skills – e.g., computer systems, software development, and IT infrastructure. Responsibilities The contractor shall perform, but not limited to: Ensure all security requirements and governance guidelines are met and accounted for in a contractor security plan. Manage and monitor the cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, materials, security, deliverables, quality, and metric objectives and milestones of the contract/order. Collect, analyze, and maintain task performance metrics to measure the execution of all business and operational activities. Provide monthly program management reviews as described in the PWS. Coordinate, collaborate, and effectively communicate with the COR, CO, and GTM regarding potential problems, issues, vacancies, and/or risks that may adversely affect the mission and/or completion of task activities and deliverables. The GTM will be the primary interface for daily tasking to facilitate meeting mission needs. Recruit and retain the required qualified personnel with the expertise, experience, and other appropriate qualifications (e.g., required security clearances) to perform the PWS required tasks.
