Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility The Neuromodulation Division at UCLA Health is seeking an experienced Applications Programmer III to lead the design, development, and management of complex clinical, research, and business software systems. This role is critical in supporting innovative neuromodulation research and treatment programs, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services and ensuring the reliability and advancement of our IT infrastructure. Primary duties include: Develop databases for research and clinical projects Provide cost/benefit analyses of alternative software and hardware solutions Develop and use custom software to analyze neural and clinical data Design visualization tools to support interpretation (coherence graphs, brain imaging, etc.) Provide advanced technical support on specialized research and clinical software Supervise staff and interns on IT, data, and programming projects Salary range: $78,500/yr - $163,600/yr

Job Qualifications

Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Strong knowledge of MS SQL, MS Access, Filmmaker Pro, including queries, functions, and stored procedures Demonstrated ability to design and write object-oriented, modular, and reusable code in C++, C#, and VB.NET, with well-documented program structure Expertise in developing web applications and services and SQL databases Working knowledge of IIS and Apache web servers Solid understanding of web and database design and development Ability to comprehend, adapt to, and integrate rapidly evolving technologies into existing systems Demonstrated ability to maintain desktop, laptop, and workstation across both Apple and Windows platforms Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical information to individuals at all organizational levels Strong organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities and accurately reflect relative importance of responsibilities Demonstrated ability to handle confidential materials with discretion
