Qualifications: Minimum Knowledge And Skills Required Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of production procedures - particularly within a Made to Order (MTO) or Engineered to Order (ETO) manufacturing environment Must have an excellent attendance record High school diploma; college degree preferred Ability to read production drawings and translate requirements into production bill of materials and work center routings Ability to use email in a professional work environment with appropriate clarity and detail with proper email etiquette Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner via phone, email, or personal interaction with both internal employees and outside vendors and customers Analytical and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage workload appropriately with time-sensitive deadline prioritization Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) Ability to understand and adhere to all safety standards for a manufacturing facility Responsibilities This position focuses on all aspects of planning material usage, set up, and workflow of all ongoing and upcoming production needed to support Customer Sales Orders. Production Planner is responsible for facilitating all requirements to establish and maintain material configurations in SAP system to create production orders for project manufacturing or material sourcing needs. Responsibilities also include reviewing production drawings, monitoring inventory levels for raw materials, resale items, and stocked finished goods, as well as accurately setting up orders to use material in the most efficient way. The Planner must coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production for the accurate and timely release of orders to manufacturing and coordinate the scheduling or work orders operations required to meet project shipping deadlines. Preferred Or Desired Qualifications Thorough knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; SAP experience preferred Production Scheduling/Planning or Demand Planning experience within a manufacturing setting preferred Working Conditions And Physical Demands Ability to work for long periods at a time sitting behind a desk Required to wear personal protective equipment as appropriate to task and environment Consistently dusty and noisy work environment Able to sit for long periods but also may be required to walk out to the plant to resolve issues and check on inventory Comments/Special Instructions Temp to perm (based on performance while on assignment). 100% onsite for at least the first 90 days then there may be an opportunity for Hybrid.
