As an Account Manager, you will achieve significant growth by driving the business development and channel expansion of independent distribution partners that allow Johnson Controls, Ducted Systems to achieve sales, margin, and market share goals consistent with the strategic plan.

Job Responsibilities

You will develop an in depth understanding of our commercial product offering. Supporting internal and external customers with technical commercial issues, quoting for light commercial HVAC equipment and supplies. Superior product selection capabilities with the ability to offer alternative solutions to save energy and cost for our customers. Proactive calls to customer base to drive sales and increase margins. Order entry and shipment tracking where necessary. Post-sale support as required. Facilitate product returns and train customers on warranty processing. Other duties as directed Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent 5+ years of commercial HVAC technical knowledge 5+ years of customer service experience Experience supporting the sales team Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office software. Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and decision-making skills. Effective and professional communication and organization skills. Strong analytical skills and a positive human relations orientation.
