Pay Information $1,966 per week About The Position Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 5 years required License: NC RN license Certifications: BLS; CNOR preferred but not required Must-Have: - Strong background in various surgical specialties including trauma, orthopedic trauma, orthopedic total joints, spine, cardiac, vascular, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, robotics, general surgery, bariatric surgery, urology, ENT, eyes, pain management, and plastics. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an average of 50 cases per day. - Availability for weekend rotation and call shifts. Description: This position requires a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The facility is licensed for 457 beds and offers a variety of surgical specialties. You will be part of a team in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient care and safety. The team consists of service line clinical supervisors, charge nurses, educators, operating room assistants, unit secretaries, and tech engineers. You will need to maintain effective communication with team members and provide support to colleagues as needed. Participation in weekend rotations and call shifts is expected, with an average of six call shifts per six-week schedule. You will be required to work 75% of the holidays. The culture within the operating room emphasizes teamwork and support for one another.
