Job Title: RN - Operating Room Profession: RN Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty required License: RN Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience to circulate in Ortho, Total Joints, Vascular, GYN, Robotics, General, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics, Oral/Maxillofacial Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The nurse will be responsible for circulating various types of surgeries including Ortho, Total Joints, Vascular, GYN, Robotics, General, Urology, ENT, Eyes, Pain, Plastics, and Oral/Maxillofacial. Experience in scrubbing is preferred. The nurse will work alongside Clinical Supervisors, Charge RNs, Educators, ORAs, Unit Secretaries, Tech Engineers, and the Anesthesia Team. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC, is important. The IV pump primarily used is Alaris, although it is not commonly used. Medication dispensing is done through Omnicell.
