Pay Information $2,020 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain before start), ACLS from AHA (preferred) Must-Have: 1 year experience in Telemetry, inpatient only; experience and competence in drug titration Description: This position is auto-offer. Flu vaccination is required for all travelers from November 1 - April 1. Declinations not accepted. The role requires floating on a rotational basis. Patient ratios vary; days are 1:5-1:6 and nights are 1:6-1:8 (estimates, not guarantees). You will utilize nursing processes to provide patient care. Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties and responsibilities according to established guidelines and professional standards. The position demands significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting patients. You may be required to work varying schedules according to patient care requirements. There is a high risk of exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands include pushing and pulling up to 50 lbs, kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally. This role involves delivering care to patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities.
