Intel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Economist to join our Market Sizing Forecasting (MSF) team within the Business Management Group (BMG) in the Sales and Marketing Group (SMG). In this role, you will leverage your expertise in economic analysis and forecasting to provide strategic insights that support Intel's business objectives and corporate strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, develop economic models, and deliver impactful presentations to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the technology sector. Develop and maintain economic models to forecast units, revenues, and product mix of PCs, servers, and other devices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making processes and corporate strategy. Provide regular worldwide economic updates and insights to senior leadership to support business planning. Prepare and deliver presentations on economic trends and forecasts to various stakeholders within Intel. Manage and organize large datasets using industry, economic, and company data to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Support special studies and projects as requested by management. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging economic trends. As a successful candidate, you must possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data. Excellent communication and presentation skills, to convey insights to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Proven project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to work independently and collaboratively within an international team. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software. A proactive approach to staying informed about industry trends and developments. Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in economics, statistics, business administration, finance, STEM, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in economic analysis, forecasting, and data analytics. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $180,060.00-$254,200.00 salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
