Position : Sharepoint Administrator/Developer Location: Windsor, CT Job Description: Role: Technical Lead/Developer (SharePoint ) Requirements Analysis and Technical design Unit and integration testing Required Skills: 6-8 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of demonstrated experience using design constructs and programming on SharePoint Platform. SharePoint 2010 experience is a MUST. 4+ years of development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies Ability to conduct independent research on technical requirements, understand existing data structures and create mapping documents and designs for porting to a new platform SQL Server programming and performance tuning. Hands-on experience reverse engineering, writing, and enhancing stored procedures. Prior project experience of migrating from an existing platform to SharePoint will be an added plus Deep understanding of document management tools and SQLserver platforms such as Documentum, SQLServer, and Oracle Ability to document detailed technical designs and mentor developers Hands-on experience using and manipulating complex XML documents, Leadership and analytical skills Nice to have skills: Good familiarity with the use of Microsoft SDK/APIs for Word, Visio, and Excel documents Qualifications
