The Maternal/Fetal Medicine Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a specialization in women’s reproductive health to join our team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive years, including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and gynecological issues such as menstrual problems, infertility, and menopause.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert nursing care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and with gynecological concerns. Educate, counsel, and support patients and their families throughout their care journey. Assist with exams, procedures, and obtain vital signs and medical histories in the absence of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Identify expected outcomes and anticipate potential adverse events, tailoring care to individual patient needs. Provide emergency care in accordance with escalation policies. Consider the needs and behaviors of patients based on age, cultural background, and individual circumstances. Independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks, including triaging and managing patient phone calls, advice, correspondence, and staff messages. Complete necessary documentation, including new OB history questionnaires and forms. Serve as an effective liaison between patients and physicians, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

Who Should Apply

Associates Degree in Nursing required/ BSN preferred Active Maryland or Compact RN license required BLS CPR certification required RN work experience required; 2 years of OB/GYN nursing experience

Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 36.31/hour - Maximum 56.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
