Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locum Opportunity
A hospital-based cardiac surgery program is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist to support scheduled coverage needs throughout the year.

July 28 August 1
August 11 August 15
September 1 September 5
November 24 week
December 22 January 2
Position Highlights:
Mix of cardiac and general anesthesia coverage
Trauma Level II facility
Cardiac cases average 90/year; approximately 1/day when scheduled
Expected to assist with general cases when no cardiac surgeries are scheduled
Solo practice model with CRNA student rotations
TEE interpretation and billing required
OR coverage: 8 rooms active daily
EMR: Cerner (transitioning to EPIC); some paper documentation
Patient population includes adolescent through geriatric; very sick peds are referred out
Requirements:
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (Cardiac focus preferred)
TEE Certified (must interpret and bill, not just place probe)
BLS, ACLS, PALS
Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia preferred OR extensive experience
Must be available on listed dates
COVID vaccinated
