This regional healthcare system features a 330-bed tertiary hospital with specialized Neuroscience Units including Neuro Trauma and step-down units. The facility includes a dedicated Children's Hospital with the region's only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, an 18-bed Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, CARF-accredited Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation, and a children's cancer center. The state-of-the-art Polinsky facility offers the only full-service pediatric outpatient therapy program north of the Twin Cities.
Opportunity: BC/BE - Pediatric Neurology
Join an established Pediatric Neurology team consisting of 1 Pediatric Neurologist, 1 NP, 1 Child Psychiatry NP, and 3 Child Neuropsychologists. This position offers a collaborative environment for physicians passionate about pediatric neurological care.
Job Details:
- On-call rotation is predominantly by phone with negotiable call schedule
- Comprehensive neurology services including EEG, Video EEG, Ambulatory EEG, Vagus Nerve Stimulator program, and EMG
- Access to MRI with compatible movie goggles and Child Life Specialist support
- Collaboration with numerous pediatric subspecialties including Hospital Medicine, PICU, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, PM&R, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, ER, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics
- Patients and families receive additional support from local foundations and an on-site 5-bedroom Ronald McDonald House
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
