Job Overview Family Medicine Physician (Outpatient):
Compensation: $250,000 $275,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with rotating Saturdays)

Join our client s community health team as a Family Medicine Physician (Outpatient) in Brooklyn, NY, providing full-scope primary care to patients of all ages in a diverse, underserved setting. In this outpatient role, you ll conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, coordinate specialty referrals, and deliver preventive care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult populations. Ideal candidates are board-certified physicians committed to health equity, social determinants of health (SDOH), and advancing care in community-based environments.
Responsibilities as the Family Medicine Physician (Outpatient):
  • Primary Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
  • Preventive Health: Administer routine screenings, immunizations, and patient education based on individual needs.
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with specialists, behavioral health, and support teams to ensure integrated care.
  • Diagnostics & Treatment: Order and interpret labs and imaging, develop diagnoses, and initiate medical interventions.
  • Documentation & Quality: Maintain accurate EMR records and meet compliance, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Community-Based Care: Deliver culturally sensitive care while addressing challenges related to social determinants of health.
Qualifications for the Family Medicine Physician (Outpatient):
  • Education: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted New York State medical license is required.
  • Certification: Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience: Prior outpatient experience preferred, especially within underserved or community health settings.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR), with experience in eClinicalWorks strongly preferred.
  • Skills & Attributes: Compassionate and clinically skilled in caring for pediatric and adult patients, with strong communication abilities and a commitment to underserved communities.
