The practice is located on the scenic campus of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, offering a supportive environment and a chance to be part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive urological care to both adult and pediatric patients.
- Deliver care in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient hospital settings.
- Work collaboratively with an established urologist and a nurse practitioner.
- Perform surgical procedures in state-of-the-art operating rooms.
- Conduct hospital consultations and manage urological emergencies in the emergency department.
- Participate in a light on-call rotation, covering one hospital site for 7 days per month (1:4 call schedule).
- No involvement in trauma cases or robotic surgeries.
- Utilize Cerner Community Works for electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Manage an average of patients per day.
- Support departmental succession planning through active engagement and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Open to new graduates; will consider candidates with lapsed board certification if willing to recertify.
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Completion of an accredited urology residency program in the United States or Canada.
- Active Vermont medical license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Board certified or board eligible in Urology.
- DEA certification.
- BLS certification.
