Job Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive orthopaedic care with a special focus on hand or foot and ankle surgery.
- Work in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
- Treat a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, referring multi-trauma cases as needed.
- Utilize MAKO robotic surgical technology in dedicated orthopaedic OR suites.
- Collaborate with a team of 3 Orthopaedic Surgeons and 4 Physician Assistants.
- Manage an average of 25+ patients per day.
- Participate in a 1:4 general ortho call rotation, with first call covered by PAs.
- Employ Cerner Community Works as the EMR platform.
- Enjoy dedicated OR block time and opportunities for clinical growth.
- Board certified or board eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Surgeon specializing in hand or foot and ankle preferred.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.
- Active Vermont Medical License (must be obtained prior to start).
- American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) certification or eligibility.
- DEA Registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- CPR and BLS certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
- Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand or Foot and Ankle is highly preferred.
