Key Responsibilities:- Provide outpatient cancer care and occasional inpatient consults at a community-based hospital.
- See approximately patients per clinic day.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of cancer conditions using a patient-centered, evidence-based approach.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and support staff.
- Participate in shared on-call duties (schedule negotiable).
- Utilize Cerner Community Works for documentation and EMR management.
- Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.
- Stay current with advancements in oncology through continued education and research.

- Willingness to participate in shared on-call schedule and weekend rotation.
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology (by American Board of Internal Medicine) - Required.
- Clean malpractice history.
- Active Vermont license (must be obtained prior to start).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Required.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification - Required.
- Experience in oncology preferred.
- Board Certification - Medical Oncology Certification Exam administered by ABIM - Required.
