• The cardiologist will practice in our Abingdon, Virginia location.
• The Heart Institute is composed of over 40 cardiologists, including non-invasive, interventional with PV skills, vascular surgery, electrophysiology, CT surgery and thoracic surgery as well as over 35 physician extenders.
• The practice is nationally recognized and leads our region s cardiovascular care.
• We have a forward-thinking organization consisting of leading-edge physicians and providers in all aspects of cardiovascular care.
• Our state-of-the-art system of care in cardiovascular disease includes the state s only regional STEMI transfer program, active research with publications in major journals, including NEJM, and fully developed vascular and structural heart programs.
• This is a full-time position with an existing, established, stable group.
• Qualified candidates will be based in clinic located in Abingdon, Virginia and work within the Hospital Cath Lab, which is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
• The group will consist of one Invasive Cardiologist, two Interventional Cardiologists, Nurse Practitioners and an excellent staff.
• Additional support as required can be provided.

Compensation. The Starting Salary Is $25,000 To $50,000 More Compared To Starting Salaries In Charlotte, NC Coupled With A Cost Of Living Of 20% Lower Than The Aforementioned Metropolitan Areas, Provides Significant Purchasing Power To Build Their Dream Home, Payoff School Loans And Retire Early.
